250 Accubonds

As many of you may know I have been waiting a long
time to get some of these elusive bullets for my .340.
A month or so ago I bought several boxes and worked up
a load and it seems everyone was right. These are very
accurate bullets however my groups seemed to open up
as I got much above 2850. 2800 seems to be the best node
but I can load much faster. In my circle Nosler is known as a
hunting bullet period, and they are, but they are one accurate one.
This is the last group I shot before my scope gave up the
erector. The P" next to the third shot is were my trigger pull
got me happens everytime I gonna make one hole. I'm happy. Skid

Nice shooting. The 338 250 gr AB is one of my favorite bullets, very accurate and deadly on game.
I push them at 3000 fps in my 338 RUM.
Shot this group at 200 yds.

That 250 AB is a sleek SOB.. It performed very well in my old 338 Win Mag at 2750. I'd always wanted to give them a try in my Pre64 but finding the danged bullets was TOUGH..

I dig the BC on them though. They have gotta hit hard.

All I shoot through my Jarrett are the 250 AB. My groups also opened up a little as I pushed over 2900. I actually reduced overall length by .05 and they tightened right up. Really nothing like the performance of a 250 grain bullet at 2950.

Starting out at 3000 fps, the 338 250 gr AB hits hard, very hard.
I have shot several crop damage deer with this bullet and at 250 yds+, you can clearly
hear the bullet hit home.
