I know there is a thread or two kicking around with for this topic, but I thought I might try again for some more definitive info.

The Nosler offering for this has 3075 fps at the muzzle and the advice I've seen to this point won't get you there.

If I can get this to shoot in my rifle I don't think I'd use anything else for a load/bullet in this particular caliber, save varmints.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks - QB

QB,

Did you mean 100 gr BT or 110 gr AB?

In my M700 Classic, I shoot the 100 gr BT and PT w/
*45.0 grs IMR4350
R-P Case
Federal GM210M primer.
Shoots in the .5's

w/ 115 gr BT or PT
*43.0 grs IMR4350
R-P Case
Federal GM210M primer
Shoots well under MOA

* This is a MAX load so work up carefully.

For the 110 gr AB, use the 115 gr load data.
Start low and work up.

Start with 46.5 grs of Reloder 22 and work up as your rifle permits. I got close to 3100 fps in my 24" model 700. Of course the powder charge was a little higher. If you have a short barrel you probably won't get that velocity. Most folks think Re22 is too slow for the Bob, but it works great. As long as you don't mind the expense of the AccuBond, I don't see any real need to change bullets to shoot varmints. I've been using the 115 Ballistic tip and another brands plastic tip for several years now and have not seen any real need to go to a lighter bullet to shoot critters. I've used some 100 B.T. s and they messed up a lot more hide than the 115s did. The AccuBond should be superior as far as tearing up hide. My preferences for powders for the Bob are Reloder 22, H-4831 SC, and H-4350.
