Since the 26 nosler has a usable case capacity of 93 grs. Would like to see what quickload shows it would do in a 28" barrel, with 129 ABLR and 140 AccuBond. I bet viht n570 and RL33 would make it hum! Sounds close to a 6.5 STW. Anybody with quickload? Thanks

I'm guessing you should be able to get 3450 fps. Talk about a flat liner!

I am getting 3350 fps with my 27 3/4" barrel 264 Win mag with 130 Accubonds and 66.5 grs Retumbo. With that much more case capacity and barrel length it should do 3500+++ . One thing for sure is that the bullet will be saying Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee-HA

Any updates? This thing should move the 130 & 140 AccuBond pretty fast with all of the slower powders out there. Love to see speeds with 28" barrel. This might be my next build.

I'm working on that same rifle. My first powders will be RL33 and Retumbo. I'm looking for at least 3500fps out of the 129ABLR and 3400 for the 140s -SciroccoII and AccuBond and Amax. I'd like to equal my 270Bee's speeds but with slicker bullets.

Keep us posted! Looking to build a 26 Nosler or 7 RUM. Kinda leaning towards the 26. What's your barrel length?

My 6.5-300wm will do over 3300fps with Retumbo and 140's in Nosler brass so I'm sure 3400fps will be easily do-able in a 26 Nosler with way more capacity. R-33 might take it over 3500fps with 140's. Mine will knock on 3400fps with R-33 in a 28" barrel.

Going to start with 28". If it handles OK I'll keep it that long - if not I'll cut it down to 26".

Would love to see what quickload says with all the slow powders we have now.
