.260 Brass Nosler ?

270fan.....

Have that piece of precision machinery in your hands yet? Extremely anxious to hear about it .......

Powerstroke, I don't have it yet. They say the war effort is robbing commercial delivery of receivers and other parts. Last communication was the receiver should be in in about 4 more weeks and that was 2 weeks or so ago. The gun smith will also need time to assemble it. I am more concerned about getting a good job than the time element though. Will let you know when I get it and how I feel about it. I have all components for reloading...... brass, powder, primers, ballistic tips, accubonds, partitions, Berger VLDs and all the reloading equip. Even got a RCBS 1500 scale-measure combo. All I need is a rifle. I even sent a new scope out for Kirby Allen to put on it. Christmas isn't far away ..... maybe this kid can survive untill the new "RED WAGON" comes.
How is your new 260 doing? Best wishes.

270fan,

 your all set to go short of the gun. I'll give you my COAL and you can practice loading some for me ???
You'll like the powder measure / dispenser when you get to using it.
That would be a great X-mas present.. hope he can make it happen for you.

I'm going to start playing with some of the heavier bullets in mine. Found that the 100 grain B-tips shoot excellent out if it which was a suprise. I'd like to find something with the 130 A-Bonds.
( Would actually like to see a 130 grain B-tip HUH NOSLER ) ??
First trip out with it I took 3 yotes with it.... Dad is going to use it in December for his Cow elk tag.
