It is seriously good shooting. Pretty easy to keep it right at 1" at 200 yards or better if I'm shooting well. I'll look up my OAL when I get home.
SJB...Funny you should mention that load. It was the EXACT same load I tested this past Sunday. Just one of many. I am using Nosler cases, CCI 250 Primers and the 140 gr. Nosler BT. Out of my rifle (Winchester Model 70 Ultimate Shadow, 24" bbl), mine came in at an average velocity of 3161.6 fps with the high being 3165.8 and the low being 3154.5 fps. A very consistent load with the ES only being 11.3 fps. My group with that was 1 7/16" @ 100 yds. I have this load marked to be re-tested. I think I fired about 33 different test loads and have picked out 10 to be re-tested based on a combination of velocity and accuracy. If I could just drop the 1 from the 7/16", I'd have a winner! This load was one of the better ones using that criteria. I saw the pics of the targets that the original poster of this thread posted and thought I would give RL 33 a try...now to find some...lol. Thanks for your info!
