I plan on shooting the heavies 160-180gr or heavier if they make 'em. If it'll shoot, I'd like to use the 175ABLR. I can choose between 9, 8.5 and 8 twist. which would be best in your opinions?

I'd do a 8" twist. I think Berger changed their tune a bit about the 8.5" twist for the 195's so I'd shoot for a little extra since your at low elevation.

If they actually show up and they shoot I'll build a 7-338 Norma Imp with a 8" twist to shoot the 195's. I have about 1300 423 Dakota cases to form cases from so I should be good for the rest of my life.

I'd do an 8 twist as well. The extra twist won't hurt a thing and only make bullet performance better.

I have a Benchmark 1in8 twist, fluted #6(Heavy Bull sporter) on the way. It weighs 4.5 lbs at 28" and I'll cut it to 26".....maybe. I now have all the components for my 28Nosler. I'm trying to decide on which of two smiths to do the work. I guess I'll wait to see if the 6.5Creed shoots(be here in a week). If it does I'll use that smith.
