Hey,

I have been using imr4350, r19 and r22. Fair results with the exception of 154 grain sst bullets which do shoot good. I have also read about 7828ssc and N160/165 and am thinking of trying them. Is there difference is performance difference between 7828 and 7828sc? I also have imr4831 but it did not do to well. I have on hand h4831 and h4831sc.

M48 rifle, nosler brass, 215m with assorted bullets all 140s (ttsx, ab) and some 154sst and 150 Elds.

Nick

I have not tried any of those powders and do not know about regular and shortcut performance . I've had good luck with reloader 23 and 26. But I am running a 160 gr AccuBond with a cci br2 through a 1 in 9" twist barrel

IMR7828 and IMR7828ssc are the same powder , only the ssc is short cut . use the same loading data . the powders yield the same velocities .

I've had good success with IMR7828SSC and was pretty easy to find a load using 140 gr. Partitions. I'm going to try the Accubonds with the same powder. Happy with the results so far.

The 7828 would give a little better case fill than the 7828 SC also.

Forum member Ridgerunner665 has (or had) a very similar rifle and developed some very good loads for it. It would be worth reaching out to him for load data.
