Finally got my hands on some 150 gr nosler Pt to test in my Weatherby Mark V. At this time I don't have muzzle velocities.

Powder: IMR 7828
Primer: WLR
Brass: Nosler
Bullet: 150gr PT
3.32+/-.005
All groups were shot at 100 yards.

I will be retesting these three powder charges.

My question for all of the reloading guru's. If this was your rifle, how would you modify these loads?

I would try RL22 and IMR4831.

With the powder you have, Keith, I'd focus on the two larger charges. The accuracy isn't all that bad. Play with seating depth. In my .280s, the Partition tends to deliver the best accuracy as I near the lands. If possible, that is where I'd focus next.

I am tempted to reshoot the 59.5 gr group because I believe operator error was a major contributing factor  I will attempt to play with seating depth. The problem is that I have trouble cycling rounds that push much longer than 3.33"

My Nosler manual #7 says 59.0 gr. of 7828 does 2990 FPS from a (they don't cheat fair) 26" barrel. I'm playing with the 150 gr. ABLR and 59.0 gr. from my 24" barrel did 3010 FPS. Accuracy wasn't good though. Now playing with seating depth. I had no pressure signs and I figure 3000 FPS is more than good enough. FWIW, factory ammo ran right at 2800 FPS from my rifle with the 150 gr. Coreloct. I used IMR7828SSC.

I'm getting mine dialed in with RL19 right now. 140 AB around 3070fps with the Magnetospeed. I'm getting close!

I had great results with H-4350, Superformance, and RL-19 pushing 140 and 150gn Sierra Game Kings.
