My 24" tubed Vanguard likes:

180 AB load, 55.5gn of H414, GM210M, Nosler brass, COL of 3.390" and getting around 2830fps.

180ET load, 53.5gn of H4350, GM210M, Win brass, COL 3.390" and getting around 2750 fps.

Wow those are impressive numbers especially for the ET. Have you ever tried the magnum primer or never felt the need for it?

I don't think it's necessary in the standard calibers, 30-06, 308, 243 and so on.

Corey, I run CCI250's in a few standard loads to excellent results. The Whelen really seems to like them. It is worth a try to see if they help. They are about the cheapest component we can switch around and not cost us a bunch of loot. Scotty

But,,,,,if I couldn't get the GM210Ms to work I would most definitely jump to my GM215Ms before buying another brand of primer.
