How far away are you seating your 30-378...with 180's and 168/165's

Approximately...

Just curious how far some fellow beholder's of said monster are jumping

Bump...

I know there is at least one shooter/loader on here for the Kong

Bullets I ran in the factory barrel were 178gr & 208gr Amax , 210gr & 230gr Bergers , and 180gr AB. All were seated to the neck/shoulder junction. I got rid of my notes when I rebarreled it.
Now I just run 230gr & 250gr A-tips and 245gr Bergers in a 8 twist barrel.

I like the looks of their "newer" a-tip bullets.
Going to see how well the 176 gr shoots. Start there.

I understand what you're saying but how were you consistently seating them going off an approximate?

Can't seex̌ where that is and can't measure it.

Unless...did you measure it before...then measure mouth to end...
But can only get an approximate...

Unless I'm way off following you

Do you have a rule of thumb seating depth where you start on your 30-378?
Understand what I mean?
Trying a new load bullet combo where do you start for OAL?
.030 jump? .040 jump? More/ less....??

Thanks
