Allow me to clarify, hornady and t/c claim that the 30 t/c produces higher velocity than the 30-06 with like bullet weights, while doing it with less powder than the 308 winchester. Their claim is based on the fact that they have powders that are not available to handloaders. So my question is, has anyone personally shot this cartridge through a chronograph, in any form of firearm, any barrel length etc. to see what the real world velocities are??
