Just curious if anyone has tried these bullets with some RL33 in the RUM?
If so what was the powder charge, seating depth, velocity etc?

Cartridge : .300 Rem Ultra Mag
Bullet : .308, 190, Nosler
Useable Case Capaci: 102.740 grain H2O = 6.671 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.598 inch = 91.39 mm
Barrel Length : 26.0 inch = 660.4 mm
Powder : Alliant Reloder-25

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 2.0% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

Now that said Q/L does not work well with the RUMs .. EXAMPLE My MAx with 200 AB and 92.5gr of RL25
was fast (3147 fps) and Accurate
Group from my SS Sako 75

The 190 gr ABLR from your 300 RUM at 3100 fps will be a long range hammer for sure.

Fotis,
Is Q/L current with the new ABLRs?

Scott

I haven't seen an update yet. Waiting with baited breath..

I agree with Fotis, Wby's and RUM's don't fair well with QL.. I believe the freebore part really changes the outputs a bunch.

QL released an update on 12 Jan 2014. Mine is ordered, but it may take another week or two before I see it.

Hey Fotis....it seems like you are a proponent of the hornady concentricty checking and correcting tool.
Is that group another demonstration of ammo run past the tool?
(And of course a marksman w/ nerves of steel, a trigger finger as smooth as fine silk, and the eyes of an eagle?) Didn't want to be unfair here...but you DO shoot some phenominal groups!

Thank you!

Kraky. That was not with the gauge. That was a test with the torque wrench on the stock screws set at 35 45 55 inch LBS. This group was at 55 inch lbs. Another variable that many do not take into consideration.

Synthetic or Laminated stock on that 75 ?
Most Sako's are great Shooters
It looks like a keeper.
