Dr. Vette I appreciate the suggestions! I'm a weatherby guy too. The trigger on the S2 is pretty nice though! And, despite all of the online suggestions I would always prefer to buy local.

When I can assemble the rifle I want at a great price, I have no qualms about buying from across the country if needed if the local guys don't have what I want. I can't expect them to carry every firearm in every caliber I might want, so if it's not around here then I look around.
If nothing else you can use your local guys as the FFL to receive the shipment when it comes in. :wink:

We have a couple of very, very small gun shops in town with no inventory to speak of, and one small to medium sized shop that doesn't have much for rifles. There really is no chance here to buy local so I rarely look anymore.
