I met a couple guys I hunt with at the range this morning and didn't have anything loaded for the 300 WSM and took a box of Federal Fusion ammo I keep around for it and my 280 Rem. This stuff is pretty accurate for inexpensive ammunition. I took a couple deer hogs using it in my 280 before I had any loads worked up for it and it worked great, it was the only factory ammo it would shoot.

Anyone else use this ammunition for target practice or hunting?

I know several people who shot the Fusion Ammo and stated the darn stuff shot pretty good. One of the guys took it to Colorado 2 years ago for his 3006. He also has been using it for deer with good results.

I've used quite a bit of Federal Fusion ammo for break-in on rifles for customers. It has almost always produced fine accuracy.

...I've used the Fusion in the .25-06 & .300 WSM, very good accuracy, & the result on mule deer & elk have been impressive...

I used it for years. Ive heard its the speer deep curl which is/ was an awesome bullet

I heard the same thing. That bullet appears to be a real winner for Speer.

That's a fine looking group.

For a plain Jane Rifle this Weatherby Vanguard has shot everything I've put through it with the same accuracy as above.
