Does anyone have the newer manual with 300WSM 165 data? What do they list as most accurate load using 165gr AccuBond? What primer, etc? Lastly what velocity as well. Thanks, but I hate to buy a new manual for 1-caliber differance.
Hunting1, give Nosler a call, they'll be more than happy to give you the info you need. Remember though, your rifle may not like their load and you might have to do some load work-up. My 300WSM with with 165Gr. partitions loves IMR4831 and a Fed. 215 Primer. Good Luck
Thanks! If I only had 1-manual I would pick Nosler! Usually there most accurate loads are right on the mark. I just hate to buy another manual for 1-caliber. I will give them a call.
I have the Hornady 2 book set, 6th edition. They only list max loads, not accurate loads. They list Win 760 as the fastest, 69.1 grains at 3150 fps. I happen to use Win 760 at 68 grains pushing a 165 Speer BTSP at 3185 fps. The best group I've had so far has been .8".
I also have the Lyman most recent edition. Unfortunately its at home and I'm stuck in Cleveland televising boxing for Showtime. They list a most accurate load and I can relay it to you when I get home - if you want it.
Although you are only loading for 1, the Nosler RG#5 is a very good reference. The $20 spent would be a good investment.
H380 is listed as most accurate powder.
