has anyone shot these ? I'm curious what you were using for the BC in your ballistic calculator . they advertise a G1 of .800

I have shot many of these at 600yds and some at 1000. This is the best advise I can offer. My magntospeed doesn’t fit on my rifle so I calculated my muzzle velocity by zeroing at 100. Then shooting at 600 using the .800 I entered my drop into Streloc and came up with 2755fps. When I shot at 1000 I came up 4.5” low. When I entered that in I show .783. Don’t know if this helps you out much , it’s all I can offer.

thanks , this helps . I'll be able to run them a bit faster , so the .800 G1 is not out of the question . I've got some loaded up to shoot for groups now . looks like I'll be right around 2900 FPS . 103 , 103.5 , 104 all were within about 1-1/2 inches of vertical at 500 yards . so far this looks like a good place to be . I seen you also jug tested it . if these shot well for me the jug test was next , you saved me the bother .

yesterday I confirmed the 103.5 grain load at 500 yards . 2930 , 2936 , 2938 , for an average velocity 2934 FPS .anxious to see how these do at long range now . these custom competition bullets were easy to work with .

I’m interested to see what you come up with. Not to mix things up , the 300gr RDFs I tried shot real well also. I started a couple grains under my CC load and found they group about the same with same powder charge and base to ogive length. I never got around to try them at distance to get a velocity drop check.

I shot 103 , 103.5 , 104 grain loads . if you stacked up the targets , all three groups were in the same place on the target , overlapping groups . I know it's a small sample , the 103.5 had a better velocity ES . I'm going to run with 103.5 load . I get it stretched out we'll see how it does . if it does well , I'll have another bullet to look for .
