338 Win Mag 180gr Accubond?

Hi guys, anyone try this combo on big game?..I got a new weatherby and plan to hunt moose, deer and bear next month, it shoots the 180"s very well..Thanks..Lou :twisted:

The 180 gr AB will work but is light for caliber. The 200 gr AB would be a better choice.

I would agree, but i don't reload and tried the 225 AB, but the 180gr shot much better groups with the federal ammo, about 3/4 to 1" groups at 100 yds, thanks guys...BB

I shot the 200's wouldn't worry about taking the 180's hunting. It's still a bonded bullet, with plenty of mass for your intended game. Considering the price of loaded Weatherby ammo, I'd stick with what you found.
