357 mag shot shells, using 357 max?

So, i picked up some of the speer shot capsules, just to mess around. Of course i researched after i bought them but in reading i found an article where the author load with the capsules, and using wads in mag brass with a roll crimp. The main disadvantage for just loaded brass he said was capacity of shot vs the capsules. This got me thinking why not use 357 max brass with the cardboard wads or gas checks? I was checking spec and may have to trim the brass just a tad. Not sure what im going to do with that many shot shells for the pistol but it i thought it sounds intriguing. Any thoughts, am i not thinking straight?

It will work, the trick is to neck down the max brass to fit the the chamber.
