358 Norma/ Woodleigh 310 sn?

Anyone ever worked up a good load and/or used the Woodleigh 310 soft nose in your Big Swede? I know they are rated to 2600fps on game, which I'm assuming the Norma can do easily? Any help appreciated. ( I'm still waiting on my barrel to come in...I'm impatient when it comes to my toys! lol)

G'Day Fella's,

Preacher, I don't have a .358 Norma but I do have a 22' barreled .350 Rem Mag.
I use the 250grn Woodleigh Protected Point exclusively in this rifle, with some great results on Game.

The largest bullet I've ran through my 35 Newton has been the 270 grain Northfork. Ran about 2650. I've been trying some RL26 with the 250 Partitions and it's both fast and accurate. I'm sure it would work in the Norma as well for the 250's, 275's and 310's.

Hey Homer- you didn't see any evidence that the Woodleigh 250 PP was "too stout" on lighter game did you? I know I could push it fast enough in the Norma, just wondering. I sure like their round nosed bullets!

No mate, they work exceedingly well on both Small and Large Game!
