Hello everyone,

First off this is my first post at the Nolser forums. I am a member of many other outdoor forums and actually a moderator at one of the busiest hunting forums there is.
I am a pretty die hard Nosler shooter. I shot 1000-1500 Nolser bullets a year. This year I kept it simple and shot Ballistic Tips, E-Tips, and Accubonds.
I came across this site a couple weeks ago while Googling a Nosler AccuBond information. To be honest I didn't even know Nolser had its own forums till then.

I am looking for the following load:
375 H&H
260gr Nosler AccuBond
H414 or Winchester 760 powder

Well so far I have probably spent 5 hours searching this load online and haven't made it too far. I have went through here and don't see anything like this mentioned and was hoping one of you had some info on it for me.

Thanks!

I can't help on the load but I'd like to welcome you to the Nosler forums. We're a close knit bunch here and hope you find it informative. You will certainly find this is a much more relaxed and quieter place than those other forums like accuratereloading, 24hrcampfire, etc.

With the 260 AccuBond, noted gun writer John Barsness recommends Reloader 15 for the greatest accuracy.

Following his advice, which I believe is also recommended by Nosler as an accuracy load, I brewed up some .375 H&H loads using the 260 AccuBond and Reloader 15.

Superb accuracy and consistency, at 2620 fps. I had absolutely no problem hammering a fair size black bear at 306 yards (laser) in September. The bullet went through him, and dropped him instantly. He did manage to crawl about 10 feet under the nearby brush.

Accuracy from my Ruger Number One Tropical was just sub MOA, shooting prone. This is a very mild load, there is a lot more velocity available if desired. My next best loads with this bullet are with H4350 and from a friend IMR4064.

Regards, Guy

I am going to try out RL15 and the 260gr PT's soon for my buddy and I think loaded like the way Guy has them made up should be a great shooter and not knock the stuffing out of my smaller than average hunting partner! RL15 has worked really well in alot of cartridges for me. Good luck, Welcome to Nosler! Great men on here. Scotty

Hello everyone,
I also plan to try the 260 Gr. Accubonds in my 375 H&H Sako and Ruger #1. I used 300 grain Partitions in my Sako with RL-19 on an African Safari in 2001 and harvested some nice specimens of plains game in Zimbabwe. The softer recoil of the 260 on these aging (67 year old) shoulders with around 69 grains of RL-15 will be much appreciated. Hopefully I'll find a great load without beating myself up too badly.

Like the previous posters, I too load RL-15 with 260s. Its very accurate out of my SS/Syn M70. Not a ton of recoil either. In fact, plan to use them for deer on Nov 15th.

RL 15 gave me great results in the past from a Model 70 :!:

Well thanks for all the replies everyone.
It’s doesn’t see to appear that there is too many using H414 in their .375’s. Looks like I will be on the lookout for some R15 this weekend.

Thanks
