375 RUM Reloading ????

I have a question for those of you that reload for the big bore stuff, such as a 375RUM and so on. The question is this, do you guys seat deep enough to use the cannelure or do you seat shallow and if you do seat shallow, do you crimp? I hope this made sense. :?

I just got a 375RUM and am curious about the use of the cannelure on the 300gn ABs I just got.

I think both the 260 gr and 300 gr AB's will be great in your 375 RUM.

JD, It's been Christmas for the past 6 months, 4 new rifles. Can you say "BROKE"

For my 375 Ruger, I don`t use the cannelures as a guide for seating depth and I don`t crimp either. As of yet, I haven`t had a problem with bullet setbacks. I base my seating depth on the COAL, which is determined by how far off the rifling I want the bullet to be.

I totally agree. My buddies 375 loves 270 tsx at 2990 fps with 99 gr of imr 7828.

I just got my 2 boxes of 300gn ABs yesterday.
