6.5x55 RL 26 with Hornady 143 ELDX

Would someone please give me some load info on the Hornady 143 gr ELDX using RL 26 in a Lapua case Fed 210GM primer. The rifle is a Win Mod 70 Fwt 22 in bbl.

RL26 may not be the best propellant when considering case fill, etc. It is a top producer for velocity, however.

Dan, for what it's worth I ve tried both R22 and R26 in my 24" Fieldcraft with 147 ELDM s.
I went to 50 grs R26 and 48 grs R22 and started to get a little stiffer bolt lift. Backed off to 49 and 47.5 grs respectively and everything good there. Temps were 50-55 degrees so haven't tried yet in warmer weather. R22 at 47.5 was giving 2725 ish and R26 at 49 was 2790-2800. Quite a velocity difference.

Both were accurate but R22 won out with .6 MOA while R26 was .8-.85 MOA. Both very good hunting rifle accuracy.

Pls do share your results; more info always good. I know Scotty has had good luck with R26 and 140 s. You ll probably hear from him at some point.
 
Thanks for the info Frankm. I've used RL22 in the past with good groups just not quite that much. Read of others stating they liked RL26 so wanted to give it a try. Dan.
 
All I use is 26 in my 6.5x55 anymore. I ran some 7828, 22, and some H4895 with reduced loads. Right now, my go to load is a 140 AccuBond at 2890'ish with RL26 and accuracy has been excellent across the board. I need to try some more of the ELD's in the rifle actually, just for grins.
 
Finally got to the range and tried the RL26. Started at 45.5 grs increasing .5 grs until reaching 47.5 grs at which time the primers were flat and cratering pretty good. Bolt lift was hard and sticky. Just can't seem to get to the upper levels of this powder as some of you are able to. 46grs. gave the best group about 3/4 in. Good to have another load to fall back on if need be but do have others that group tighter just not as fast as what you guys are getting. Thanks for your help, Dan.
