I don't know if this will help or not, but I bought the 6mm today I asked you about. After I did, such a feeling of contentment, peace, and tranquility came over me that I can only believe comes from the knowledge I own a 6mm (now) and two .280's (along with a bunch of 6.5's too). :roll:

Huh. I get that same feeling of contentment after I buy a new gun, no matter what it is, even after my third .270. (And I don't even like .270s.)

There is only one way to scratch the 280 Rem itch and that is to go buy one.
And wouldn't it be just grand to have your trophy picture with a big Billy Goat and a 280 Rem?

Load development is a snap, 57.0 grs RL19 and a 140 gr PT (or an AB or BT).
Should you ever get board with the 280, get her AI'd and take it to the next level.
