7-300 ladder results

Finished up my 300 yard pressure/velocity/ladder test with my 7-300 win mag. 300 Win Mag Nosler case necked down/180g ELDMs/H1000/CCI 250/.008" off the lands. I think it likes the 71.5g-72.5g node as it put those 3 into 1/2" with no vertical. Velocity is right at 3000fps. Will be loading up 5 each at 71.5/72/72.5 and see what they do for groups on paper and some more velocity numbers. For now I'm pretty happy with the potential...

Ran it up to 74.5g with no ejector Mark's or stiff bolt lift. Primer was cratering as usual with this rifle. Have the same test to run with RL26. See what it does the next time out. Wind started to pick up and I ran out of time. Had to drive downrange after every shot to keep track of them.

Nice, that looks like a solid load. H1000 and a big 7 is hard to beat. Might not be the fastest, but they are usually wide nodes.
