well yall new here but i need help.... iam having trouble with my C.O.L. i have used the stoney point O.A.L. gauge and the bullet comparator and cant seem to get a consistant length is it me mabey the way iam using the gauges or should i look at my press or mabey the die and just how close should i get to max O.A.L and what kinda range is acceptable

The best you can do is consistency with the comparator. The O.A.L. may vary a few thousands because of bullet length inconsistency. As long as your getting consistent lengths with the comparator your doing good. Even with the comparator you may not get exactly the same lengths. There are some tolerance variations in bullets. Just to check, measure the lengths of the bullets before you load them. You'll see some variation in lenghts. I guess to answer you question plainly, its probable not you or your equipment or the way your using them. Its the bullets. That is, I should add, if your using any bullets besides Noslers.

well thats a great explaination and considering the small inconsistancy a very possible answere iam using 160gr accubonds... thank you
