7mm-08 - Nosler Soild Base

Thanks Nosler for a great bullet design.

I made a 210 yard neck shot on a WhiteTail. The bullet retained over 75% of the original weight of 140 grain and mushroomed to a size of a dime.

Thanks for the new .204 bullet and 280 Brass!

Any 7mm-08 Brass ideas?

I've had real good luck with Remington brass in my Rem 700 Mtn LSS 7mm-08. I've developed loads for 140 Sierra GK, 140 Nosler AccuBond, 140 Nosler BT, 150 Nosler BT, 139 Hdy SP, 145 Speer SP (HotCor) and 154 Hdy RN. With all of these I've been able to load to max book charges without any pressure signs and all loads except the ballistic tips shoot MOA or better and even the BT's average 1.3" @ 100Yds. I just haven't found the right powder for the BT's yet. So far I've been able to get 8 - 10 reloads before discarding the brass. It's safe to say that I'm very pleased with the Rem Brass and see no reason to change.
