Well I just received another 100 rounds of CT Silvertips for my 7Mag. My question is,Why doesn't Nosler/winchester get together and produce a 168 grain silvertip bullet to load for the 7Mag and shoot around 2900FPS? To me, this would be an ideal bullet to shoot deer and moose in the brushy country. The more lead that you put in these animals the better and bigger hole for the quick kill.

7Mags forever & a 30 cal. will "Slam Dunk Um"

I do believe there is a 160 gr AB available for the 7mm RM.

HI there, I shoot the 160 ABs in my 2 7MMs and my brother shoots them in his as well. But, if you really want more, step up to a 30 cal like the 30 RUM or 30 WBY. The 30 RUM will move a 200 gr AB at 3200 fps! Pretty amazing, and the BC is incredible.

BTW,. that is my next mag. After I get a 222 or 223...

The BC on the 175gr PT is pretty awesome and if you are able to get it up to 2900, that would be a fantastic moose killer, anywhere. Hard to beat the BC on the 160gr AccuBond for an all around bullet. Scotty

The 175 PT and the 175 TBBC have been my hunting bullets in my 7 RM for many years. They shoot accurately, giving me around 2850 fps. The 175 PT still gives me 0.75 inch groups at 200 yards.

RL22 and 160 ABs are working very well in my two 7 mags.
Chronied one of them the other day at 3070.

160 AB and 66 gr RL22. My Remington 700 FS (80's vintage) will do 3/4" at 300 yards!

I use the 160 Partition at 2950 fps in my 7mm Rem Mag and have killed quite a few deer with it. It is a Death Ray on deer. However after failing to harvest an elk many years ago with the 7mm, I switched first to .300 H&H and then .338 WM. I use a .338 Federal now for casual local Roosevelt Elk hunting in the jungles and a .340 Wea Mag for the heavy work at range on RM Elk with 225 gr Partitions at 3000 fps.
