Tried twice to catch a 140BT in the jugs, but it was just too dang elusive.. Third try was an AccuBond in 140 Grain.. It pretty much turned inside out, but still held together. I was in the 5th jug (I think).. It wrecked the bench I had them on..the plywood bench top actually tipped over and dumped everything on the ground.

Weighed 83.8 60% weight retention, 3270fps jugs at 20 yards.

AccuBond...Boringly PERFECT

That did pretty good considering how fast it slammed into the jugs. Looks to be a good all around bullet that could handle game up to the size of elk and moose. Thanks for posting your results.

I've never shot 140s in my 7WSM, but your results could change my mind. Fine performance of the bullet, to be sure.

Very nice Dano. That bullet looks great man. I can't see you having too many deer slip away with one of those bombs thru the ribs!

Dan,

Nice recovery. The bullet passed the torture test. FWIW, its a favorite elk bullet for quite a few in the Bend, OR area, and for good reason.
