9.3x62

I found some real cheap stuff made by Privi but I don't know how good it is.

I have been having really good luck with the Privi brass in my Husqvarna 640 in 9,3x62. I have been looking at the Nosler blems but I have a pretty good supply of cases so I can't really justify them.

I have heard the PRVI brass is good stuff, better than the domestic stuff made in the U.S. typically. Not as good as Norma or Lapua but also not nearly as expensive.

I have tried both Hornady and Norma brass for my 9.3x74R and my only comments are that the Hornady brass had many dents and scrapes and the Norma brass was nearly perfect from the vendor (Midway USA). I have not tried Nosler brass for this cartridge yet but will sometime this year. Other than cosmetics, the Hornady and Norma brass seems to load interchangeably and the necks are both .012/.013 on both brands of cases.

Just when the fire burning inside my mind for a 9.3 had subdued to a mere glowing ember, along comes a thread like this and fans at ember into a fire again. Man!!

Looking good there. Love that 9.3.

Great point Gerry. I am not sure what I was thinking. At the price of the Nosler 2nd's, I wouldn't even monkey around with any of it. Just buy, load and shoot! HA!

Yeah, it is dangerous for sure. Wouldn't take much to find a Model 70 and have it rebored for a 9.3..

I am not sure if I would go for the 9.3 or a 400 Whelen. Both of those two seem to bring alot of bullet to the table.

Geez guys you really need to stop this non-sense. The suggestion of building one of those is poison to my ears. For one I have 9.3 brass waiting patiently to be used. Then for 2 I have a Classic SS M70 action waiting patiently for attention. And lastly it would be the perfect caliber to add to my battery. A 250AB @ 2750 with a .5BC these are very scary thought I don't want floating around my gray matter right now. 308 trajectory with a large 338 mag power. It's just not right for this to be brought up.

Your Friend,
Jake

Jake,

What are friends for. Remember friends don't let friends build oh hum rifles.

Sounds like you are onto something quite worthy buddy.
Looking forward to your build parameters.
