A brief moment of weakness!

..I still regret I didn´t pickup that 6,5x55 M70 that was on auction last year. I am glad somebody like NVBroncrider actually does something about it and just don´t sit there and do nothin´.....:LOL

Thanks guys I appreciate it I'll post more photos when I get it. It's not fancy like my other Swede but I got its match.

Well I picked it up today and she is beautiful. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. I made sure I took a hanker chief with me to the store and put it on before I opened the box.

Here ya go

A couple of lovely rifles, Jake. You've done well with those. Either should serve you well for many years to come, looking good in the process. Some great figure in the wood on the newer 7X57, by the way. I've witnessed that on a variety of the newer product.

Mike those are both 6.5X55. My 7X57 does have some decent wood that is very similar to my stainless.

My bad! All the nicer. Excellent!

I saw that one come up for sale and watched to see who'd grab it. That's a beauty for sure!

My father has a fwt 6.5x55, as well, but nowhere near the wood of those beauties! It's such a nice combo...the trim fwt and elegant Swedish round....sure wish they'd made more of them!

Who knows, maybe someone from Winchester is reading the forums. That would be a classy move for sure.

All I know is I will wrestle my brother for dad's 6.5 whenever the time comes to divide his rifles! That should be quite a while yet, but that one is one I will not easily let go!

You might as well send that old beater blued one to me Jake. No sense in trying to keep that ugly duckling around.

That stainless 6.5 is really sweet! Great score!

Oh man, there he is. First he tried to get in my dad's will for that 6.5, now he's haggling on Jake's rifle. Gotta watch out for that spider monkey....

There's a lot of that going on around here. On the other hand, he does have a good point, Scotty.

I know. Danged guy is scaring off all my prey, I mean, errrr, friends!

Well, I must say that I do enjoy witnessing the "whomp" of a 200 grain Partition launched from my 325 WSM as a moose or elk drops to the ground.
