Good letter and cerainly salient points about recividist criminals who do not serve appropriate terms for even Federal Felonies with a firearm. Nobody in government seems to care about the victims of these criminals, least of all our politicians, most of who have armed security 24/7 as a perquisite for being a politician.
The citizens of this country need to hold politicians accountable. If they do not support the laws that are presently statutes of their state, kick them out of office! They do not deserve to be paid perks and a large salary for being publically irresponsible!
