A rare find

Some years ago I owned a 444P, and in a moment of stupidity sold it [emoji31]

Well, I finally tracked another one down [emoji4]

Thanks guys. It currently has Skinner rear sight on it, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be and am thinking of putting a Redfield 2-7x on it.
I have 300 Hornady 265gr bullets all ready and might also try some 300gr XTP.

Very nice rifle . I sure have noticed that there has been a real increase in interest around these parts for the lever action rifle in what I call the bush calibres :wink:.

I was just testing ya.
You have a great rifle there with a lot of reach and power.
Those Marlins will shoot too. My 1895G in 45-70 put 3 Nosler 300 gr BST's into a .400" clover leaf at 100 yards.

It's too bad Nosler doesn't make a BT for the 444. Would be a dandy.

I would settle for some more of the .429 250 grain Partitions, but no flies on the Swift A-Frames either.
