A Wolf Hunt in the Western US?

Supposedly we are going to be able to use electronic calls and traps for them this year. That was the plan for last year when the season was cancelled because of relisting. Tags are already for sale here despite the fact the season dates wont be set until next month

Every year there are more and more sightings here, but no established packs yet...... hopefully

Chet, I would almost bet money if there are sightings, there are packs there. I think wolves are some mighty smart animals and where there is one, there is probably a few more smart ones of out visibility. Hope Utah has the gumption to back a wolf hunt before they get outta hand. Scotty

I just bought my Idaho Lic and deer tags and they are selling wolf tags right now :grin: Do I want a elk or wolf tag? I've seen a bunch of them in the Stanley area.

I can tell you that it can be a serious hunt to stalk wolves. I really wish all you fellows great success this fall. David, have you heard whether Montana tags are definitely going on sale?
