Read this book this weekend. It is an autobiography about a SEAL sniper named Chris Kyle. Great read! Gives some great insite into the military world for those of us not in the forces. It was really interesting to get his wifes point of view about what was going on during his deployment.

Gives a guy a new apprecceation for our armed forces and the guys and gals that make it happen!

Jake that sounds like a good book. Did you read Hathcock's book? That was a really good one too! Are you and the wife getting any sleep? I know silly question. Is the little man doing well?

I have not read any Hathcock books. I need to read a few more good books so i'll look it up.

We are doing well thanks. Barrett is doing well but when he wakes up Payton (our 2 yr old) hears him and wants to help out. She is harder to get back to bed than Barrett the new born is. So we are all adjusting to say the least.

Jake,

I was looking at that book a couple weeks ago at the book store.

If you have any of those high techie things like a Kindle or similar the book is available through Amazon.

It is a good one, it goes fast. I really appreciated his understated sense of humor. Very interesting perspectives, both from his point of view and his wife's.

Downloaded it for my iPad. I had the latest Clancy novel to finish, a L'Amour, already going, plus a Stephen hunter novel. I need to stop trying to read three books at the same time! But I will read it sometime in the next three weeks... probably on my next flight home.

That is when I seem to get the most reading done...

I used to be that way, but any more I just get too fidgety. I can sorta focus on a TV show (normally NCIS), but I'm having a hard time with books.
