Did these to go with the daughters Christmas knives, i get them one every year(buck prince this year). Scaled down a pattern for the smaller knives I typically get them, next is a full size for my buck 112.

Slimmfinn you should look into getting your daughters each a Ruana knife for next year. Better purchase it now as Mike & Mark Hangus are looking to retire. This company has been family owned since it started in 1938 with Rudy Ruana (grandpa) making knives in the same shop still used today. Bearing Made Knives located in the same town as Ruana I hope will take over and make some of the Ruana models in the same fashion. Let's hope. Here are two that are pretty sweet and have 3 1/2" blades. Either one makes a nice every day carry blade, and a hunting knife of course. Not too big, not too small.

Great looking blades, its looking like I may be too late, they aren't currently taking any orders

I am working on a project or 2 for Gil, and well he got me thinking of what else could use for myself so started making a list, cartridge carriers popped up, my daughter thought it was "cute".
Was nice having a couple extra days off for Christmas, did a fair bit of prototyping.

You are doing very good work and I love to see how you are evolving as a leather bender.

Leather Bender is what I call a craftsman that tools leather and you sir are doing very fine work.

Vince
thanks Dan and Vince
I enjoy taking an idea and turning it into something someone wants, likes, and uses. He was pretty proud to show it off when I gave it to him Monday.
(Wait until Gil shows off what I've made for him, once I figure out the easiest way to get it north of the border)

Boy I'm beginning to think I need you to make me up one of those 4 ammo cartridge belt holsters for my 30-06 and would also work with my 6mm Remington. That would be pretty sweet to use if the bison start coming out of Yellowstone before February 15th so I can go down and try and find one. I've been going out every couple of weeks or so to shoot a few rounds out of my Ruger 1B in 30-06 that I'll be using on my hunt loaded with 165 gr. Nosler Accubonds. We need some weather and cold for that to happen though. This is a 3 shot group I shot at 100 yards today.
