Another Montana coyote gone

Hey guy's just thought I would share this with you. I was driving down the road north of town and saw something moving. So I kept driving and what do you know, there was a coyote just trotting down the middle of the road (old dirt farming road). After getting about 75 yards from it in the truck to confirm my theory about if it was a coyote or not I got a better look and it was. I hit the brakes and I just so happened to have the AR 15 with me and some trusty 55 grain V-Max bullets loaded up inside it. Looking through the Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 scope (THANK YOU FOTIS!!!), I flung a round in the chamber and aimed at the heart. One round down the tube would have done the trick but the little dog was running away after getting hit in the heart. I aimed the cross hairs on its head and let another bullet fly towards the already dead dog. WHAP! the bullet hit its mark in the right temple of the yote. Down goes the dog. Here are some pics for you.

My pleasure sir! Glad you're putting it to good use....

Awesome story! Man, seems like that little AR and Vortex are earning their keep. What a nice truck rifle! Scotty

Thank you everyone, I was really surprised to see that coyote just right there in front of me. That AR is doing a great job. I have kept the groups right around the 5-6 inch mark at 475 meters.

Can't beat that. That sounds like the perfect yote rifle for traveling. Short and fairly light, plus accurate. Sounds hard to beat. Scotty
