Back order ?

When you order something from Midway and you it is back ordered do you have to pay the shipping on that item also? I have 2 things that are on back order and I don't want to pay 3 shipping fees.

I don't know. Every time something gets back ordered I just put it back in my wishlist and get something else I need then when it gets back in stock I order it.

And it seems over the past 4 years, back orders are more common. I can only imagine that is mostly due to vendors keeping less money tied up in stock due to the economy, and possibily the unsurity in this Admin..

I think it's safe to say, in the last 4 years, dealers are having a hard time just getting inventory. Even before this last rush, lots of folks I spoke to in the industry were getting backorders from the manufacturers who just can't keep up.

I just ordered from them yesterday, getting some items they had on sale - bullets - and a few pistol magazines that weren't. During checkout, they separated it into 2 portions, the in-stock and the backordered. I paid shipping for each, but even at that it was cheaper than using dealer discount through Grafs since Grafs didn't have the magazines. No matter what I would have paid shipping twice somehow.

Larry donates so much to the same hunting causes that I like that I don't mind giving them business if the Midway price is similar to what everyone else has.
