Well I hate to make this my first post but I have been a looker for a long while. For some reason my account got missed by admin, No biggie really.
Well here is my problem. I have been a fan of nosler for a long while. When they announced they were going to start making brass I was pretty excited. When my local shop started to stock the 30.06 brass I decided to buy 4 boxes and neck them down for my 25-06AI. Well they necked down great and were very very consistent in weight.
Now for the not so great part. 75% of the primer pockets have not made it past the first loading. I'm fire forming with RE15 (44gr) and 85gr B-Tips then my load is 57gr of RE22 with a 100 B-Tip. This is a very low pressure load for my rifle. I have run up to 61grs of RE22 in Winchester brass.
Its really a bummer because the brass is nice and I hate throwing it away after one firing. I have read this a couple places on the net and talked to nosler about it. Nosler told me to send in a few cases, which I did but I never heard back. I have read this a few other forums as well.
My question is has anyone else had this problem in other calibers or is nosler brass just soft?? Maybe they had a bad lot??
