Badgers- How/ where would you hunt one?

Well, first ya finds a field where there's some rodent type critters. Badger food.

Then ya squint real hard and find one of them onery badgers.

Then ya get down on the ground and low crawl as quietly as you can...

And grab that badger dude!

That's when it might get a little rough... ;)

But that's how ya do it. Let me know when you're gonna give it a try, I'll get it on video!

Yup - I can tell you from experience- you get a rope (snare) on one of them critters and it gets to be a rodeo, in a hurry. Specially when you are only armed w/ a BB gun.... CL

Yup- just been a while since Ive seen an alfalfa field, and the accompanying Badger bungalow....CL
I had an Alpha chasing a beta or omega right under my stand.
Was fun watching and I didn't raise m rifle.
We don't have too many and I don't kill just to kill.
Same with foxes. The state Forrest boarding us don't shoot them at all. There, they (the foxes) kill mice that damage roots of young trees.

Wouldn't make a difference if I kill some to protect small game.
So why kill just to kill?;

Foxes not even protected in my state but you must have a fur bearers license to take a badger. I shoot them mostly with a camera these days but won’t begrudge another hunter the right to take one. Sadly Cars get Most of them.
