So i was wondering if say i had a .224 69 grain bullet traveling at 2800 FPS would stabilize out of a 16 inch barrel(1-9 twist). A guy at a reloading shop had told me that they dont shoot very well out of that length and twist....... Just seemed kinda fishy to me. I know i have a wealth of information on this forum and love to hear all of your opinions and facts on the matter.

A combination of velocity, Barrel twist rate to a lesser extent the individuality of the barrel dictates the stabilization of a projectile.
