Just wanted to ask you experts as to what brand or style of bench rest device you recommend under $150?

Do a lot of 100 and 200 meter target shooting with .308 caliber bullets.

Thank-you in advance of your advice!

I've used an Uncle Bud's Bulls Bag for years. Just fill it with sand and your ready. I've shot many a one inch group @ 300 yards with this set-up. Costs around $60, but I believe it's called something else now. It's just looks like one large sandbag with four seperate sections attached. The gun lays on top between the two smaller sections......very steady.

That's some shootin'. I never did that while on the National Army Shooting Team.

7mmfan and I have done this dozens of times. My best was .645" at 300 with my SAKO 300 RUM and 200 gr AB's.

Well you can't argue with the group Pop and 7mmfan are getting. The price is nice for the bag too. I just looked at The Rock BR and for retail around $195 it looks really nice. I know it's above your $150 set range but for 45 bucks more you get windage and elevation adjustments. I've used the BullX type bags and they work great. I also bought my brother a Bald Eagle rest and they are a pleasure to use. I hope that helps.
