What's your favorite method to support your rifle during load development (Bag, Sled, Bipod)? I've been using a bipod, but I am looking for something more supportive to minimize or eliminate errors on my part.

Was as an adjustable front rest and rear bag. Now it's a Bullsbag.

Do you use the X7 system or one of the field/bench rests.

I bought the 10 inch field bag because it fits my needs and use better. The X7 can be used for pistol, hi cap mags ect.. One thing this bag does do is lock your rifle in place and because of that the felt recoil is reduced.

I've always used bags. It is still my "go to" preference when conducting load tests.

G'Day Fella's,

CMBT shooter, the way I flinch, it doesn't make much difference but I usually use a bagged Bench Rest up front and a Rabbit Ear bag at the rear!

When I get a chance (both Time & Money), I will be patenting a personal design of mine, which is a replacement for the rear bag!
Watch this space!!!

Doh!

I gotta get one of those bulls bags.

Have you all ever seen sandbag mittens? My buddy had one and let me use it for training. He says he got it from a German at a NATO sniper course and I'd like to get one of those for a rear bag.

I use the caldwell bulls bag filled with bird seed and a rabbit ear bag rear. The caldwell bag works good but it is not very durable.
