I was thrilled to note eagles in southwest Minnesota and in southeast Nebraska during a recent trip into the mid-west. My in-laws report eagles in southeast Kansas. Good to know that the great birds are spreading into territories formerly occupied by their ancestors.

Yes! I remember it was a rare thing to see an eagle in my youth.

Now? The darned things are thick here in the winter, in the Northwest. Love it!
