Okay, it's not rifled. Yet. But it's big enough... Fotis, you may need one of these for pronghorn duty, it's bigger than your .416...
If you guys ever get out my way, to Central Washington, come in October to hunt mule deer (I don't promise one!) fish for salmon, eat fresh apples, AND see the Pumpkin Gun in action! It's about 10 miles from my home, at an orchard, and has been a fixture here for some time. The barrel is 8" pipe, and the "propellant" is compressed air, up to 100 PSI. He tries to hit the target on the hill, a couple of hundred yards away. So far it's got the range, but not the accuracy. Am thinking he could patch the pumpkins like a lead ball in a muzzle loader. He said a Number Ten can is almost a perfect fit... Range? He's shot it OVER that hill in the background. It's the accuracy that isn't so hot. The deer eat the pumpkin shrapnel.
There's something you don't see everyday, a pumpkin gun.
Enjoy! Guy
