Saturday I carried the one of my project Glocks, a 10mm to the woods. I was using CEB Raptors for the first time in the gun. The 120 grain is as long as a 200 grain XTP. The velocity was 1434 fps. At 25 yards the guns shoots ragged holes with these bullets. The shot was 59 yards and I shot her right in the aorta. She ran 15 yards after the shot. This bullet is designed to fracture on impact. 4 petals break off then the core continues to penetrate. It worked as it was supposed to and to my surprise all of the petals exited as well as the core. One of the petals completely penetrated the thickest part of the shoulder muscle before exiting. That was unexpected.
