I am getting use to the trigger. New battle sights coming in soon. Changed the optics to Burris Fullfield II with ballistic plex and it is working very well.

Last 20 rounds getting use to trigger. Brown Bear 55gr HP 2907fps average

Mike, why did you change up scopes? Any issue with the Leupold? It looks like you are getting along pretty well with that rifle. Shoots pretty well for some basic factory ammo. Scotty

Thanks JD, it is a nice rig. My first battle sights were the wrong ones and I could not adjust elevation properly so a new set is on the way.

Scotty, there is no issue with the Leupold VX-III. I wanted a Ballistic Plex so I could make quick 300 and 400yds shots because yotes at that distance do not hang around when that close. They do not give you time to make click adjustments. No other reason.

Rgr, figured it was something like that. I have a 2x7 FFII with the Ballistic Plex on my 358 Win BLR. Pretty decent scope for the money. Plus, it works pretty nicely on the 358 for normal hunting ranges. Scotty
