BLC-(2), Who uses it?

With the powder shortages these days I find myself with 3#s of BLC-(2) on the shelf. I know that it can be a versatile meat and potatoes kind of powder but is there any cartridge and load where it really shines?

Old standby for the 222 Rem and does well in my 223. Can be used in 308win. Plenty of uses for it. Dan.

I've used it in the 204 Ruger, 30-30, and the 308 Winchester with good results.

I understand that it may be a bit temp-sensitive on really warm days, but I haven't had any problems. It flows nicely through a powder measure.

I’d agree with Dan. Pretty versatile medium burn sorta powder that should work well in quite a lot of stuff.

I use it in 30/30. I've had it pop some primers in a 223 on hot days.

Very versatile powder , used it 204 Ruger up to 460 WBY. Burned up 8lbs in my 308 Win with 190gr Nosler Custom Comps.

It comes just prior to CFE223 on the burn chart. CFE223 gets Great velocities in many cartridges from small to large. I see no reason why BLC-2 wouldn't perform well in that same spectrum of calibers.

I've never used it but remember reading that BLC-2 works well in the 35 Whelen.

I loaded at least a thousand rounds a year for 20 years. (308) never saw a reason to change. Equaled my limited supply of Gold Medal Match provided by the PD for accuracy.

I've used it quite a bit in a 223rem, done some load development in my 8x57, and I'm getting ready to try it in my 338-06. It's not a new or maybe popular powder but it's certainly got some worth
