Sorry Scotty, I would have been happy to lend it to you, just disappeared?

No worries Charlie.

I will put out an APB for the book. If any of you all find a copy for a reasonable price or would lend it to read for a little while, I would appreciate it.

Scotty,

AbeBooks, Amazon, Ebay and others have a few of Elmer's books.

Good luck in the search,

Thank you Jim. I will keep the search up. I checked Amazon, but they were 300+ dollars.. A little too much..

I have a copy of Elmer Keiths Safari. So should every american also have One...:-D

Btw...it is a good book...well written. Elmer speaks highly of the .333okh. It was as understand his standby caliber for all his safaris. His favorite bullet was the 275grain WT&C. Speer used to make a similar 275grain bullet in .338cal. I don't know if they still do that?.

Speer stopped making the 275 .338 bullet about 20 years ago. I used to use these bullets for hunting elk in Western Washington but have not seen any for sale in many years.

..I thought so. Back in the 70s..one could buy 300grain bullets in .338cal.
