Anybody ever seen one of these?

A little more serious question... anybody know anything about this? I somehow ended up with some, and I have no knowledge about it at all. Curious if it's worth my time to mess with.

PPU is Prvi Partizan ammunition from Serbia. I haven't seen Sears ammunition in many years.

Thanks, Mike. It should work OK for fouling shots with starter loads, then.

I would think it would be fine. I'm not certain if it is Boxer primed or Berdanm however. Obviously, I've never reloaded any of it, so I can't even speak of the quality of the brass.

I was sorting though all my dads old 270 brass the other day and ran across some SEARS 270 WCF brass. I never new they made brass, or loaded ammo.

They didn't. I'm thinking it was probably made by Federal for Sears. I used to have a large batch of 30-30 brass I bought as loaded ammo from Sears and most of it had the Federal FC headstamp. Later, the boxes were the same and the headstamp was marked Sears. It was always decent ammo though. The brass naver gave me any trouble when reloading it.
I have a box that has all kinds of odds and ends in cartridges and I have about a half a box of IIRC (I's have to go look.) .35 Rem. made by Savage. Box is complete even with the Savage Indian logo.

I guess I am showing my age......

Sears & Robuck was the store to shop back in the 70's. Craftsman tools had a 100% replacement policy on ant tool that broke, even if you played "Primitive Pete". Sporting goods were endorsed by Ted Williams. I have a Sears 22 semi auto rifle that was actually a Winchester M190.
Sears also offered deer hunting ammo in 30-30, 308, 30-06, 32 Win Special and 35 Rem. Not sure who made it but I would guess it was Federal. They also had shot gun ammo too.

Ah, the days........

Worked on a "Sears" 30/06 a couple years ago that was a Win Mod 70 action. Cheap piece of wood for the stock.Rick.
