I have been beating around a Bausch & Lomb Elite 4000 scope for nearly 20 years. Have shipped the rifle with this scope mounted many times. This year, the goons at UPS must have really put the shipping box though a torture test because when I test fired the rifle in Wyoming before the hunt, it was printing 10" to the left and high 5" at 100 yds. I had to really crank the knobs to get my groups back on. When I got home I looked up Bushnell's website, as I knew that they owned B&L. Wrong, they have sold that name and no longer stock B&L sport optics. So, I sent the B&L scope back to Bushnell anyway. Bushnell cleaned, rebuilt and fully serviced my scope and then returned it to me. No charge! That is the sort of service that builds great companies.
